So, basically, I hate to do this kind of thing but have to in this case.
Tug is an excellent looking game on kickstarter right now, and not quite making its goal. It’s pretty much like if you took Minecraft plus an emergent storyline plus character progression. Oh, and the whole thing is in voxels with graphics smooth as butter.
The team is about 80% PhD scientists with degrees in stuff like sociology, who are going to develop a system of emergent storyline that meshes with the proceedural generation of Minecraft-like infinite worlds.
I think it’d be grand if they managed to get the funds to make this amazing, freeroaming, ambitious game. So all I can do is back them once and try to let others know about how great it looks. Sorry though, since I hate adverts.your characters appearence changes…depending on how you play…

You know what I’m sick of? People excusing bad behavior towards others because they’re abuse survivors.
You’re not helping that person grow by excusing them because of something that happened to them, you’re telling them that the events in their life define them and how they act.
You are accepting that abuse survivors are going to act inappropriately: see also “Your kid is going to be fucked up”
Abuse survivors, you have every right to be mad, you have every right to make mistakes. But that’s what they are. Mistakes. You can’t justify being mean to others because you were (Very Unfortunately) being mistreated by others.
By doing that you are becoming like those that abused you.
It’s alright to make mistakes, but it’s not alright to treat others poorly because of the past. You are too beautiful a person to turn into that jerk that hurt you and made you feel so bad.
Bad behavior is bad behavior, however hard your past was. It doesn’t mean you’re a bad person, just that you are human and you need to check yourself now and then.

ah! fellow fish owner!! do you know how I can go about adopting out my two remaining female bettas?? I only have enough tanks anymore for my three males and a hospital tank ;A; I was able to give away the three other ladies I had but I can't get anyone to take these two for some reasonn
AnonymousI’ve only ever owned one beta at a time in my setup, largely because it’s always a tossup if they’ll cohabit or not with my other fish (largely a mixture of guppies) or not. That and I discovered they are happiest in five gallon tanks which can take up room if they are the only fish in there. Female betas tend to not do as well with giving away I find because they aren’t always as attractive as the males, which is potentially your issue. So between their appearance and the space they need, people might not deem them worth the effort. I wish you luck on finding them good homes. :)

Oh that poor fish. That’s an advanced case of dropsy. Basically an infection made it swell up like a balloon and its scales to stand out like that. They probably have it in quarantine and are trying to treat it. If you own fish and see one like that, it’s pretty badly sick and might not make it.
